My involvement with horses is entering its 37th year! 
Very exciting for my youngest children (4yr old daughter Dyllan and 2yr old son Ashton) who will grow up with Gypsy Cobs as their main riding ponies. I have a very long and involved history with our Equine friends having owned/bred/competed at various levels and disciplines in my lifetime.

Our children - eldest daughter Sophie (19yrs) - NZ multi National Champion Athlete 400m sprint specialist. Greatest achievement running for Gold in Samoa 2007 and WINNING along with NZ Title holder 2 years running.

Caitlin (17yrs) our Accountant to be and an outstanding writer and author with fiction novels. Watch this space for the next Harry Potter series!!!!

Both girls hung up their riding hats a few years ago and especially now as they explore life - contemplate their futures and both studying hard at school. Sophie has just passed her end of year IB Exams (2 year degree course) and is en-route to Otago University in February 2010 and will study Law.

It was a phone call that day a few years ago now - when a lady ringing about a QH broodmare that I had for sale mentioned a Gypsy Cob stallion available at stud. We now have a part bred Gypsy cob filly out of my QH mare and she is the loveliest filly. In her heavily feathered UGG boots, adorned with her very thick and hairy double dark mane, large apple bum and gorgeous buckskin coloured coat she is just gorgeous. Superb in temperament and very people orientated.

Little then did I know that my world would change and take me on the beginning of my Gypsy Cob Journey.

We imported our Gypsy Cob stallion in 2009 - and in December 2009 we purchased Gypsy Magic Quality Star from Deborah Nash, Gypsy Cobs NZ and owner of "The Gypsy Star of Brackenhill" sire to our filly.

He was with us for a grand 24 years before he passed away.
