Harkers Romani Chi & Gypsy Magic Quality Star
Romany Shakahn &
Romany Tinker's Beau (both owned by Fourwinds Stud)
Shakahn is by The Gypsy Star of Brackenhill out of a (QH/Stationbred
mare)
Beau is by Romany's Tinker Taylor out of one of our top quality
producing mares
now owned by the Moore family in Auckland.
Both are a fine example of the quality and type both these stallions
are putting
on the ground. Check out the feather on both these cobs!
We invited everyone to shelter in the barn and those interested
were allowed a sit on the magnificent Harkers Romani Chi
and to get up close and personal with the Gypsy Cob girls.
Guests were arriving most of the day,
We couldn't be more impressed with the turnout and bookings
to some very, very nice mares!

Romany's
Tinker Taylor
NZ Multi
Supreme Champion, 2 show starts for 2 Supremes.
2010: Nationals Title Show, Inhand, allbreeds - Won the
Grand Champion Pinto Cup, Champion Adult Pinto pony then
went on to win Supreme Adult Champion Pinto pony in a class
of 26 entries well proven and that he has what it takes to
be Champion.
2010/2011: Sydney Australia, AI only and made his debut for
the first time under saddle at the 2010 Sydney Stallion
Parade.
A very
compact, thick set stallion, TK also displays three
excellent paces. The very best of Gypsy breeding this
stallion is what the Romany Gypsy people call a "grand cob"
in England.
True to type, short coupled with great width, depth, a sweet
head,
fabulous apple rump and tons of feather, this stallion ticks
all
the boxes as a true representation of this breed.
Romany's
Tinker Taylor is an ideal stallion for the modern day sports
horse. A perfect stallion for driving ponies and of course
breeding to purebred Gypsy Cob mares. Working in harness,
harrows a collar and now working under saddle this stallion
displays serious work ethic and in true Gypsy style loves
his audience when it's showtime.
Gypsy Cobs
have a cold blood draft horse temperament and are the
strongest for work duties and typically the most easy going.
The Gypsy Cobs intelligence, stamina, hardiness and
sensibility is becoming highly desireable making them also
extremely suitable for families and children.
